We are proud of our fundraising record. Our staff nominate a Charity of the Year and we host a variety of fundraising events, including our annual Charity Cricket match. Our charity for the year 2006/2007 is Rowans Hospice which is well known in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire for its quality specialist palliative care. Only 23% of The Rowans expenditure is provided by the NHS, the rest is funded by grants and charitable donations. At present they have 19 beds for inpatients and day care facilities, three days per week, for 16. There is also a bereavement counselling service, a qualified social work team, support at home and chaplaincy.

When we heard that 16 year old Rebekah Pidgley had been asked to represent Great Britain at the World Shooting Championships in Croatia we were happy to offer our support.
Rebekah's father Peter, who is employed by Portsmouth Business Systems (also supporting her) has looked after Dalton's computer network for many years and so the firm have been kept up to date with Rebekah's Rifle shooting achievements.
We believe that we should support our young sportsmen and women, and in Rebekah’s case she could well be an Olympic medal winner in the next Games. Watch this space!
